The course stresses the importance of the journey to wholeness through God’s grace and truth. Being made whole is a prerequisite of developing healthy relationships with others. Since God has created us in His image as social, relational beings, it is crucial that we face the challenges of growing in these areas of life.

Class Description
Family Relations is a study of God’s plan, structure and framework for fulfilling the marital relationship. Special attention is devoted to Scriptural principles for dating, marriage and child-raising. This class will break the antiquated stereotypes that have destroyed the intimacy and fulfillment of marriage.

Class Objectives
1. Explore the dynamics of family systems.
2. Discover the ways in which your family of origin affects present thoughts, beliefs and ultimately actions.
3. Uncover tools, which will aid in the process of experiencing emotional wholeness.
4. Consider life principles of dating, marriage and parenting.

Required Reading
Read “We Still Kiss” by Dr. James B. Richards and “The Mastery of Love” by Miguel Ruiz.
