The decision to take this course will prove to be a vital step in your personal and ministerial development. There are many destructive, works oriented approaches to prayer that breed self-righteousness and dead works. This class will not cover every single aspect of prayer, but it will provide with enough tools for you to have a prayer life that builds confidence in God and Biblically based sense of self-worth. Your paradigms of prayer may be seriously challenged. Use the Bible as your source for understanding, not past experience or someone’s teaching. Test all that you hear by the Word of God.
The life and ministry of Jesus provides the first Biblical model for how a Son of God should pray. Until he arrived on the scene no one prayed as a son. Then, the teaching in the epistles supports an approach to prayer that follows the pattern of sonship.
When the New Testament talks about faith, it nearly always refers to faith for righteousness, faith for who we are in Jesus, or faith for the finished work of Jesus. The greatest need we have in prayer is to commune with God and persuade our heart to believe the truth about who we are in Jesus.
If you face issues that are too challenging to handle at this point in your life, just set them on the shelf for now. God will take you through change at a pace that is enjoyable for you. If you have questions, feel free to call our office. The registrar or director of the school of ministry will be available to help.
Impact International School of Ministry is committed to equipping a new breed of leaders and a more confident believer. We are not interested in the mere sharing of information. We want to empower you to live in the Grace of God. May your journey be pleasant and rewarding. When you finish this course you will want to look at other courses that will help you fulfill your call!

Sincerely,
